Mark your calendars to join us for a girl’s night out!

The Meade County Chamber is very pleased to announce the third Outstanding Business Women in Leadership Award.  We are extending the invitation for nominations of an outstanding woman whose success in business and contributions to the community have set the pace for our region’s future.

Join us for an evening of celebrating women in Meade County. Mayor Edna Berger, Elizabethtown, will be the keynote speaker. Dana, Leslie and Lori with Everett & Allies Gift Shoppe will be presenting the fashion show as part of the celebration festivities.  The Pink Louisville Slugger will be presented to the Outstanding Woman chosen for 2017. All our nominees will be honored at dinner on Tuesday October 10 at the Brandenburg United Methodist Church’s Life Center.

“I have had the privilege to watch so many business and community programs flourish under the close guidance of women in our community. I wanted to make sure these women were honored for their hard work and endless hours given to the success of their accomplishments. Not only are they business owners and key employees they are always working towards the bigger picture of what makes a quality community for their families and others.

The mission of the Meade County Chamber of Commerce is to enhance opportunities for members of the business community through promotion and education therefore developing a strong local economy and better quality of life.  All the nominees work in different ways, for many of the same things our mission states. I wanted the Women in Business Award to be given by the Chamber, to recognize their work as a part of our mission.” Executive Director Carole Logsdon
