Wednesday, October 1, Business Appreciation Day.  Be sure to call YUM! YUM! Bakery for your chance to say “thank you, we appreciate your business in the community.” They will deliver a $10 Dozen of donuts in E’town, Radcliff or Brandenburg to a business of your choice! Be sure to call 270-422-2800 today for delivery! I give Melissa a list of the businesses for the next 6 months and then I don’t have to worry about it. It’s a great way to build buy local thinking.

Thursday, October 2, the Meade County Public Library joins the Meade County Chamber for an Open House and Candidate’s Forum. Meet and greet the local candidates and hear their plans to be your elected officials in the County. There will be food, music by Josh Mitcham, and a photography exhibit, as well as opportunities to win Library door prizes.

Thursday, October 2 join us for the Meade County Extension Homemakers Yard Sale to support the Backpack for Hunger Program. 5am until 5pm under the extension pavilion, located at the Extension office at 1041 Old Ekron Road in Brandenburg.

Thursday, October 16.  The Community Partnership Dinner at the Proffitt Farm, as well as the Chamber Luncheon. Luncheon will be at THE SHOP, located on Christian Church Road behind NCR Steel Construction. Mike Hucker of Consolidated Grain and Barge will be our speaker.
