The Meade Activity Center announces, Florida State University Football Coach Willie Taggart as guest of honor at the 9th Annual MAC Matters Gala on Tuesday, April 24th.

MAC Matters Gala’s goal is to raise capital for operations, expansion of facilities, and fund the MAC Financial Assistance Program that provides fitness and recreational opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and incomes.

Aaron Greenwell, Executive Director of the Meade Activity Center states ” great strides have been made over the past couple of years, and we could not have done it without community and sponsor support. Our annual gala has produced incredible results and graced us with previous guests of honor including WKU Men’s Basketball Coach Rick Stansbury, Actor Chris Tucker, US Track & Field Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Johnson, entrepreneur and philanthropist Todd Wagner, tennis great Monica Seles, solo artist and member of the Eagles Don Henley, former CBS Evening News anchor Dan Rather, and PGA golfer Kenny Perry.”
