The Kentucky Petroleum Marketers Association (KPMA) and Kentucky Underground Storage Tank Branch (USTB) are pleased to announce Stull’s Country Store of Payneville, KY., as the 2017 Outstanding Tank Systems Award winner of the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s 2017 Tank Excellence in Compliance (TEC) Awards. KPMA and USTB announced the winners at the 4th Annual Tank and Technical Conference in Lexington, KY in November.
“All of us at Stull’s are truly humbled and very proud to receive the TEC award in representing the best of Meade County and the state,” said Stull. “Thank you again, for we couldn’t be who we are without the support of our customers believing in our mission, and the help of Kentucky Petroleum Marketers Association.”
The TEC Award was created by the KPMA and USTB to recognize Kentucky tank owners who exhibit excellence in compliance with their underground storage tank systems. The USTB identified nine nominees from all 3,212 tank facilities in the state, then a winner was chosen from each category. From those winners an overall Outstanding Tank Systems Award winner was chosen.
The winners in the following categories are:
Small Facility Owner (single facility)
Stull’s Country Store – Payneville, Kentucky
Medium Facility Owner (2 – 10 facilities)
Zion Country Store – Henderson, Kentucky
Large Facility Owner (11 or more facilities)
Rocket Oil Company – Madisonville, Kentucky
