Meade County Bank has been a member of this chamber of commerce for 30 years. As one of our Chamber’s founding members, many have served as directors on the board and have been a longtime supporter of Chamber initiatives. Meade County Bank is proud to be a locally-owned hometown bank. They find pride that every director, officer and employee is a part of this community. We live, shop and belong to the same organizations as you. We know our customers on a first name basis and can better understand your individual needs,” stated Bank President Jim Hines.
The Meade County Bank has many projects they support in the community. They employee students and they are the proud sponsor of Tidal Wave Bank, a student operated class at the Meade County High School. The bank was built by Meade County Bank in September of 2000 and is located in the cafeteria. It provides the student body and faculty of the high school the following services: savings accounts, lunch loans, small personal loans and check cashing. The bank class is instructed by Mrs. Kelly Holley. The profit generated from the bank is used to fund an annual scholarship for Tidal Wave Bank students
Their level of support to this Chamber is a great asset to the success of the Chamber, and it is important for us to say thank you and recognize their commitment to our success. Their commitment to the City of Brandenburg and Meade County has not gone unnoticed.
