Leadership Meade County Class of 2017 has officially started. We are excited to have a great group committed to the 9 month program. Leadership’s Opening Session and retreat was held in Bardstown and led by presenter, Grace Gorrell (Lead with Grace Leadership workshop). This year’s schedule is as follows:

March – Economic Development, Facilitator: David Pace, Meade Co. RECC
April – Business and Industry, Facilitator: Elizabeth Arnold, Your Community Bank/WesBanco – Class of 2015
May – Quality of Life: Tourism, History and Recreation, Facilitators: Carole Logsdon, Chamber of Commerce & Jessie Speaks, All About Homes Realty, Class of 2015
May – Graduation; Facilitators: Marilyn Craycroft, Janet H. Hobbs, Class of 2014, and Latisha Hardesty, Aleah Foushee, Class of 2015 – Guest Speaker: Warren Beeler, Governor’s Office of Agricultural Policy
This will be the third class for Leadership Meade County, and the chamber staff appreciates the commitment from the member businesses and area leaders who play an important role in the success of this type of training for our future.
