Durhams Woodwork – Grand Opening June 2

Meade County Chamber of Commerce, along with Lee and Sidney Durham, and Kendell Smith, owners, invite the public to a ribbon cutting and open house on Saturday June 2 at 9a.m. celebrating the grand opening of Durham’s Woodworking: Purveyors of Fine Furniture and Art.
We invite the public to come visit for the day, The Locals food truck, ice cream truck and Skyworks will be filming the festivities for the day. The gallery will be home to 22 artists from the area. Originally the building was home to Little Dave’s. After being vacant for several years the building has undergone an extensive rebuild on the inside for a gallery of local art and a wood working shop for the furniture maker Lee Durham. “The whole place for me is nostalgic, all the history and character this building has”. Stated Sidney, my sister and I grew up coming in here, and we wanted to keep the parts that were unique to those good memories.”
Ribbon cutting is provided by the Meade County Chamber of Commerce and is set for Saturday June 2 at 9a.m., store hours are Saturday 9a.m. until 8p.m. Sunday 11a.m. until 7p.m. Durham Woodwork is located at 155 Main Street in downtown Brandenburg. For more information please call 270-422-4477
