Bluegrass Animal Care Center – Brandenburg is named the Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Month for March. This business was selected for its level of involvement in the community, and in recognition of its support to the chamber throughout the years. Bluegrass Animal Care Center – Brandenburg, formerly known as Meade County Veterinary Hospital employs 14 full time employees including a veterinary technologist and veterinary technicians; husband and wife team, Drs. Angalyn Theno and Mike Williams opened office in January of 2009. They added Dr. Brittni Lenz in 2016 to the team. Glo Brady serves as Office Manager for both locations.
On August 15, 2016, they expanded to include Bluegrass Animal Care Center – Radcliff, formerly Radcliff Veterinary Clinic. This has allowed the doctors to expand services into Hardin County.
They are also in preparation to break ground this spring on a new building, 7500 square feet of a state of the art veterinary hospital and with 7500 square feet of expanded space for boarding, grooming and daycare with indoor and outdoor play yards, webcams, extra playtime and other packages.
We want to congratulate them on their recent participation for World Spay Day. On February 16 the clinic took in 48 cats for low cost spay and neuter. The care center is a full service surgery including orthopedic and laser. They offer Microchip ID Implants, Ultra Sonic Dentistry, vaccinations, boarding and grooming services and farm calls are available.
