America’s Best Value Inn is the Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Month for February, selected for its level of commitment to the community by offering a quality hotel stay for the Brandenburg community. We congratulate this small business on their upgrades to the hotel and marketing the property with an effective website and social media presence. As a member of the chamber, their hard work reflects well on our organization as well as the Meade County Area. The hotel is located at 1900 Armory Place, next to the Brandenburg Fire Department.
The hotel is owned by Bennet Davis who has been in the hotel business for 19 years. Bennet and his wife, Nina, moved to Meade County in 2013 with their daughters, Samaira and Saraiya. Much to our delight, Samaira, a very bright second grader at Brandenburg Primary, occasionally visits the Chamber office with her father. Both Bennet and Nina are hands-on owners, and manage a staff of 10 employees. Since their purchase the hotel has undergone many changes including new signage, complete pool restoration, exterior painting and lighting, as well as a new parking lot surface. Most of the room restorations have been completed, however updates are an ongoing process, and plans for additional building and landscaping upgrades are in the works. “We are spending a lot of time focusing on details that make a good product, to serve the area,” stated Davis.
